Lansdale Boro, Lansdale - The 2-bed rowhome on 7th st in Lansdale has been sold. Well, more specifically, it "Settled" yesterday. Quite an accomplishment for all parties and I'm celebrating this weekend. We listed the home in Jan of 2009 and when we got a buyer in just a few weeks, we saw that it would have to be a "short sale". The rest of the time from then until now, has been paperwork and waiting for the bank, and more paperwork and more waiting. The buyers were great and hung in there and now they've got a great new home at a great price. The seller is happy because he can move on with his life and doesn't have the burden of a Foreclosure on his record. I learned a lot about short sales and I'm now doing 3 more. Boy, that was fast. First party through put in a very acceptable offer. Now, since this is a short sale, we have to submit it to the seller's bank and them approve the shortage. Hope this one moves along better than my last short sale which is now on it's 8th month! -- christine w. perry

Hospital to replace golf center in East Norriton Albert Einstein Health Care Network submitted a development proposal to construct a 200-bed hospital on 22 acres of the Wood's Golf Center on Germantown Pike. If approved, the hospital would include a six-story patient tower, a three-story emergency room and operating room suite, an intensive care unit and a three-story medical office building.
